Fantastic find! Very happy with the taste of the food and presentation. Clean and friendly, plenty of seating, hidden away in the Buena Park Mall by the fountains

Gallo de oro has very good tacos de pescado and shrimp. Quality of the tacos are excellent. Service is excellent. Recommend this restaurant

Delicious and real Mexican food yummy I recommend this new restaurant at Buena Park mall the chilaquiles with milanesa the crispy tacos is delicious the mole enchiladas was yummy everything is so delicious

Stopped in today and spoke with the owner, a very hard working lady that makes delicious food in Grange Hall at the B.P.mall. The place is clean and quiet "Grange Hall quiet." We had the carne asada street taco which was seasoned very well with fresh onions, cillantro and tortillas. We also had the Carnitas Burrito which was huge and delicious! No surprise bites that you sometimes get with carnitas. The refried beans were perfect. All in all it was a very nice lunch. The prices are more than fair and they also have a 2.00 taco Tuesday. They provide a mild green and a Smokey red salsa both delicious and flavorful. We'll be back!

This is our second time eating at Gallo De Oro, and we couldn't be more satisfied! The food was hot, delicious, and fast! Very filling, big portions, and if you're looking for that authentic mexican taste, look no further! Very clean environment, and excellent customer service! This restaurant deserves a 5 star rating! Highly recommend!!!!!

Green Chilaquiles are bomb a lil spicy fr me also enchiladas de mole were my favorite u guys have to come gt some

I didn't realize this was open until today but the cashier lady told me they opened 3 weeks ago. I wanted brunch type food so I got the chilaquiles. I usually prefer the crunchy type but she told me that's Mexico DF style while theirs is Puebla style, which are soft. I got them with chicken, green salsa, and without onions. They came with rice and beans on the side and of course, onions, ugh. Also the egg was on the side on top of the rice but I'm used to it being mixed in with the chilaquiles. The chicken was on top also not mixed but flavorful and tender. Overall not what I typically picture for this dish but it was good, after taking out as much onions as I could lol. The beans were good but the rice was dry and had no flavor. I guess even though they weren't what I expected, they weren't bad. I would go back and try something else and make sure there aren't any onions lol.

This restaurant just opened up in the Buena Park Mall. I remember their old restaurant was here a long time ago so we decided to stop by and give it a try when we were shopping. The ambience is very nice inside. Janet was very lovely at the register when she took my order. The food came out very quick too. There was a good amount of seating inside. We ordered the Torta milanesa combo with the fries and drink. The torta was very good! Came with guac, jalapeños, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and beans. The food court inside is still a bit empty as new places are opening but I highly recommend coming by to try this restaurant when in town!

Decided to try this New Mexican restaurant nearby with a couple of friends and we were not disappointed. The cashier was very polite and patient, I really appreciate her taking the time to explain some of the items on the menu I was confused about. I ordered the asada fries and were perfectly crispy as well as salty. The asada itself was very juicy and flavorful it also has a unique taste I've never experienced before while tasting asada. The torta was absolutely delicious from the crunchy yet tender milanesa all the way down to the fresh lettuce and pickled jalapeños. I can definitely see myself coming back here in the future, from overall welcoming environment to the delicious food gallo de oro should be a must try on everyone's list.

Came here to eat with my friends and met the owner, she was super sweet! I tried the Asada fries and they were yummy, but I wish I had added guacamole to it. The green salsa was also very delicious! The music playing while I was eating made it a great vibe.
